Nat Pike was born and raised in the Detroit area, where he gained the nickname "Bugfish" and subsequently coined the appetizing term "Bugfish Soup". Besides work with such unknowns as The Frostbitten Snooze Alarm, Trunnion, Guillotine, and The Pike Brothers, he has long been recording and producing solo works, collected under the BugfishSoup moniker.
